GSGS Webinar – Sanitation Technology in Indonesia: Past, Present, and Future
Water Supply and Sanitation Infrastructure Management (WSSIM) Study Program of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FCEE), Institute of Technology Bandung held an event entitled GSGS Workshop: Sanitation Technology in Indonesia: Past, Present, and Future. This event was held online by Zoom Video Conference and Youtube Live Streaming on May 15, 2020.
The guest speaker was Aldy K. Mardikanto who is a Functional Intermediary Planner, Directorate for urban, Housing and Settlement, Bappenas who explained about general condition of sanitation in Indonesia’s past, present, and future plans. The second speaker was Prof. Dr. Ing. Prayatni Soewondo MS, Professor of Water and Wastewater Engineering Group who talked about sanitation technology usedin Indonesia’s past, present, and future. The third speaker was Dr. Ahmad Soleh Setiyawan, S.T., M.T., lecturer of WSSIM ITB who gave presentation about sanitation technology challenges in the future. This event was attended by more than 200 students and public participants from various cities in Indonesia.
